CHAMFEST FAQs

If your question isn't answered below, please send us a message via our contact page.

I can’t find my tickets, what should I do?

More information about tickets can be found in the Booking Terms & Conditions, under the sections headed "E-ticket", "Printing condition & ticket validity", "Ticket use & validity" and "Ticket control & event access".

If you have purchased a ticket through www.chamfest.fr, you will receive your ticket confirmation by email – please check your inbox and junk folder for the confirmation email in the first instance. If you cannot find your confirmation email please can you contact us?

How do I use my ticket when I arrive?

Once your ticket is scanned you will be given the number of wristbands allocated against your ticket to access the festival.

All members of your party must keep your wristbands on for the length of time your ticket is valid i.e. 1 day / weekend. If you remove your wristband your ticket will no longer be valid.

In case of loss, theft or duplication of a valid ticket, only the first person in possession of the ticket will be able to access the event. You remain responsible for the use of your ticket.

I can’t come anymore, what should I do?

CHAMFEST tickets cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded in the event that you cannot attend. Tickets can be transferred to another person, please contact us to organise this.

I have a weekend festival pass, but can't go on one of the days.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your pass to another person for one day. When you first enter the festival on day 1 your ticket will be scanned and verified and you will be allocated a festival wristband which will be sealed on your wrist. This wristband will act as your entry to the festival for all the ticket dates booked. If you remove this wristband your ticket will no longer be valid. Therefore you cannot pass your wristband onto another person.

What are the opening & closing times of the festival?

CHAMFEST is open from 10am to 10pm, on Friday 15th June, Saturday 16th June and Sunday 17th June.

Some of the kids' zone will close around 8pm. Please check back for more updates.

Where can I read your Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy?

You can see links to the T&Cs and Privacy Policy in the footer of every website page.

How old do I need to be to enter the festival unaccompanied?

People over 18 years can enter unaccompanied.

Ticket holders under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets for under 18s must be bought in the same transaction as the accompanying adult.

Please note: on entry all under 18s need to arrive with their parent or guardian.

Once I’m at the festival, can I come and go as I please?

Once you have had your ticket scanned and your wristband secured on your wrist you can come and go each day that your wristband is valid. If you remove your wristband, your ticket and therefore your entrance will be invalid.

If you exit the festival to go to the Parc de Loisirs fun park, you will need to return through the main entrance of the festival again. We will endeavour to get you back through as quickly as possible; please bear in mind that your bags will need to be checked again through security and there may be a queue at peak times.

Can I bring food, drink or alcohol in with me?

As this is a festival that’s also about food and drink, you will not be able to bring any of these items to the festival site. There will be a great range of food and drinks to enjoy at the festival.

However, you will be able to bring food and drink / baby milk in for kids under the age of 6.

People with allergies and special dietary requirement, please get in touch with us.

Do I need to bring ID?

You will need to bring your ticket with you to check in at the main festival entrance. It is advisable that you bring a form of ID with you; if you cannot produce ID you may not gain entry to the festival.

We have a strict policy at the festival of no underage drinking and we will be asking for ID should we suspect any underage drinking on the site. Any adult found giving alcohol to minors will be asked to leave the festival.

Anyone intoxicated will not be served any more alcohol and will be asked to leave the site.

Payments / cash

You will need to bring cash with you to purchase food, drinks and any other services or products at the festival. We advise you to bring enough cash with you for the duration of the day. The nearest cash points to the festival are on avenue Michel Croz, close to the train station, or Place du Mont Blanc.

Toilets

We have dry toilets in the festival grounds including disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.

What happens to lost property?

Lost property will be brought to the Chamonix All Year stand close to the festival entrance.

If you've already left the festival, contact us to ask about your lost property. Items will be kept for one month after the festival. Anything not claimed after one month will be given to charity or disposed of.

Families & kids

Children under 6 years are free to enter the festival but you must still add them to your ticket when purchasing as they will count towards the total capacity at the festival.

Any lost children will be accompanied to the Chamonix All Year stand close to the festival entrance.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! CHAMFEST is a family festival so feel free to bring all the family. We have special family tickets, under 6s go free but you must still buy a ticket for them when booking.

All children must have a valid entry ticket to enter the festival.

Children's tickets must be booked at the same time as adult tickets.

We operate a policy of a maximum of 2 teens (16-17) per parent or guardian over the age of 18.

Please note: on entry all under 18s need to arrive with their parent or guardian.

Do you provide changing and feeding facilities?

We have baby changing facilities, you are welcome to bring food for your babies and children under the age of 6 years, but there won’t be facilities to heat this food up. There will also be food suitable for children on site as well as children's food portions.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome on Sunday only.  If you have a good-natured, well-behaved family dog, he / she can join in the fun of the festival on Sunday only. However, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Dogs will not be allowed in the kids' area. You will be expected to bring poo bags to clean up after your dog and food for them, but there will be some water bowls provided. Please be considerate to your dogs, it will be a busy festival with lots of people, noise and music in the evening.

If your dog falls into the category of dogs which need to be muzzled, they will not be allowed to enter the festival site.

If you are deemed not to be looking after your dog, you will be asked to leave the festival.

What can I / can’t I bring on site?

No alcohol, no drugs, no glass, nothing that can be used as a weapon.

No camp stoves, no BBQs.

You may bring a picnic blanket.

Smoking

If you are a smoker, please be careful where you put your cigarettes out. There is absolutely no smoking allowed in the kids' zone or by the hay bales and other flammable items at the festival. There will be some recycling facilities for cigarette butts, look out for those.

If I need to book accommodation, where do you recommend?

We have some great partnerships in place to provide accommodation to festival goers. Check out our accommodation page.
